Membership

By joining the PTO, you help us meet our school's needs that are outside the scope of their budget.  When you go a step further and volunteer to help with events—or join our board— you set a fine example for our students to follow, and greatly support our teachers and staff.  

Parent participation is a big part of what makes Heartland such a great school.  Your membership gives you the opportunity to vote on how PTO funds are used and helps support the educational goals, as well as access to the PTO directory. 

*** PTO members have the option to be in the directory. Not all families will opt to have their information shared. This is a personal preference done within the MTK account. 

Our goal is to have 100% membership participation from parents, teachers and administrators.

Membership is $25 per family.

If I join, do I have to?

• Go to meetings?
  No. You are welcome to attend our general meetings though.
  
  
• Volunteer or spend a lot of time at school?
  Nope! Joining the PTO is not the same as volunteering. If you choose to volunteer we would LOVE the help—but volunteering is not required.
