Red Bag Project

Thank you very much to the Heartland community for selecting ALL of our Red Bag gifts! Your generosity will bring happiness to so many children in our area! Just a reminder that Red Bag gifts are due back to the school office by October 24th. Please return the gifts using the instructions below:

1)  Items must be purchased new and left unwrapped

2)  Please securely attach any tag of your own (any large gift tag, index card, paper, etc.) with the following information:

       -Include the child’s name

-Include the child’s gift ID (e.g. A5 or M8) that is listed before the name of each gift

3)  Drop off your gift(s) at Heartland using one of these three options:

-Send your gift(s) with your student to be dropped off in the main office on a school day

-Bring your gift(s) to the front entry door of the school and call the main office to ask a staff member to pick up your gift(s)

-For any remaining gifts not turned into the office, we will be collecting gifts on Saturday, October 24th with a drive-thru drop off option in the school parking lot from 9:00-11:00 AM

Box Tops Reminder

Let’s earn money for Heartland!

If you still have non-expired box top clippings, you can turn them in to the designated bin located in the school lobby. If your student is a virtual learner, contact Jenny Manchik at jmanchik24@gmail.com and she can arrange pick-up. Deadline is Friday, October 23rd.

Fall Virtual Book Fair

We love the fact our students enjoy reading books. Equally exciting, new book titles are still being released and available to our young readers. Our annual Follett book fair is still coming to Heartland, Covid style. Heartland will be hosting a virtual book fair November 9-20 with hundreds of books available for purchase, including new titles. Here’s a sneak peek of some of the books available. Stay tuned for more details!
