Is there anything better than skipping lines at checkout?
Having an account on the Heartland PTO website will let you bypass the lines at ice cream social! On our website, you can pay all your fees, including Take Stock Fees, and order spirit wear directly from your smartphone or at laptops available at the school. Speaking of Take Stock fees...
Take Stock Fees is our PTO's primary source of funds. Last year, Take Stock Fees paid for:
- Admission and bus fees to class field trips. These included trips to Wilderness Science Center, Kaleidescope, Nutcracker at Kauffman Center, and the Coterie. ​
- Funds given to each teacher for classroom supplies​
- A new volleyball net and various PE equipment​
- Water Bottles and Shaved Ice at Field Day ​
- Operating expenses of school clubs and JagU​
- Ice Cream Social ​
- Teacher Appreciation Events
- Book Fair Operations
Here are some important dates for the month of August:
- August 13th Ice Cream Social (4:30-6:30pm)
- August 15th First day of school (8:35 drop-off)
- August 21st Back to school night (5:15-6:45) / PTO General Meeting (5:45-6:15pm)
- August 30th Pastries with Parents (7:30-8:15am)
